We are united in what we believe –

  1. God is the creator and ruler of the Universe. One God existing in three persons: The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit.  He is all powerful, all knowing, unchanging and all loving.
               Gen. 1:1, 26,27; 3:22,   Ps. 90:2,   Matt 28:19,  I Peter 1:2,   2 Cor 13:14
  1. Jesus Christ is the sinless Son of God.  He offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for our sins when He died on the cross.  He rose from the dead after three days and ascended into heaven.  He will return again someday to take us to heaven; that where He is, we may also be.
            Matt 1:22-23, Is 9:6, John 1:1-5, 14:10-30,  Acts 1:9-11,   1 Tim 6:14-15,  Rom. 1:3-4
  1. The Holy Spirit convicts the world of sin, lives in every believer, and provides power for living, understanding and guidance to live a life pleasing to God.  He gives believers spiritual gifts that are used to build up the body of Christ.
            2 Cor 3:17,  John  14:16-17,  16:7-13,  Acts 1:8, 1 Cor 2:12, 3:16, Eph 1:13,  5:18
  1. The Baptism of the Holy Spirit as seen in the New Testament is available to every believer.  It gives the believer power to live the Christian Life and to share Jesus with others.
            Acts 1:5-8,  2:4,  10:44-46,  19:6,  John 14:16-17
  1. The Bible is the inspired Word of God to us. It is the supreme source of truth for Christian beliefs and living.  It is God’s truth without any errors.  All our teachings are based on the truth of the Bible.
            2 Tim 3:13,  2 Peter 1:20-21,  2 Tim 1:13,  Ps 119:105, 160,  12:6,   Prov 30:5
  1. Although every person has tremendous potential for good, all of us are marred by an attitude of disobedience toward God called “sin.”  Sin separated people from God and causes many problems in life.
             Gen 1:27,  Ps 8:3-6,  Is 53:6a,  Rom 3:23,   Is 59:1-2
  1. Salvation is God’s free gift to us but we must accept it.  We can never make up for our sin by self-improvement or good works.  Only by trusting in Jesus Christ’s forgiveness can anyone be saved from sin’s penalty.  When we turn from our self-ruled life and turn to Jesus in faith, we are saved.  Eternal life begins the moment one receives Jesus Christ into their life by faith
            Rom 6:23,  Eph 2:8-9, John 14:6,  1:12,  Titus 3:5,   Gal 3:26,   Rom 5:1
  1. People were created to exist forever and heaven and hell are real places. We will either exist eternally separated from God by sin, or eternally with God through forgiveness and salvation.
           John 3:16,   2:25,  5:11-13,  Rom 6:23,  Rev 20:15,  Matt 1:8,  2:44-46
